About: This piece is about the part of me who protects and keeps me safe. She's a perfectionist. Hypervigilant. She can pick up the tiniest shift in tone, knows the moment the energy in a room changes, and always colors inside the lines. She memorized the rules so young, and now I'm trying to unlearn them. She would hate this piece. There's nothing perfect about it. Every seam is a little crooked, and I left them that way.
